A Simple Prayer

I close my eyes, and say a prayer.
It's up to Him, it's in His care.
He always listens, He's always there.
He'll touch you're heart, He will be fair.
\He will not judge you, He will not laugh.
His word will guide you, show you a path.
He'll lift you up, He'll ease your pain.
He'll give you comfort, He knows your name.
\If we just believe, if we just have faith.
That He sacrificed, and took our place.
He shed His blood, He shed His tears.
He gave to us, a gift so dear.
\A simple prayer, is all it takes.
To hold your place, at heavens gate.
He gave His all, He sacrificed.
To give the gift, of eternal life.
