short earth

Iam not an American.
I am an Earthling,
upon this Earth we share.

Put aside our differences,
put aside our governments,
it's not in these I care.

I am not a leader.
I am a dreamer,
of the people here.

Put aside our comforts,
put aside our hardships,
it's not in these I care.

I am not a creator.
I am a visitor,
a wonderer, here and there.

Put aside our need-things,
put aside our dealings,
and remember how short we are here.
